My Lollie’s Objective:

The primary focus for this campaign was to increase in #1 keywords, especially for “lollies” in Google Search results.
Challenges Faced:
● The key word “lollies” being too competitive with a search volume of 33,100.
● My lollies was not in the top 10 for core categories on SERPs
● There were certain technical issues and errors that required attention.
● Blog content was not optimized and regularly posted.

Search Rescue’s Solution:

There were multiple factors that required intervention to optimize the website for better visibility. Hence, a comprehensive approach was developed, which included activities such as updating content for the benefit of users, focusing on internal linking, and improving on-page SEO. The campaign aimed to optimize the site not only for better SERP rankings, but also for a better overall user experience. Thus, the following solutions were implemented:

Creation of keyword rich and engaging blogs:
We made the content engaging and informative by sharing interesting facts related to the lollies category. Including high-quality images (and optimizing alt attributes) also enhanced visual appeal and increased user engagement.

More focus on Technical SEO:
Implement structured data and optimize website architecture and navigation. Also, ensured the crawlability and indexability of the webpages and fixed broken links and redirects. We used several other tools to monitor performance and identify technical issues.

Internal Linking throughout the site:
When implementing the internal linking, we aimed to link to relevant pages with anchor text that accurately described the linked page. Implemented breadcrumbs and a sitemap to improve navigation. Additionally, regularly review and update the internal links to ensure they remain relevant and effective.

Several On-page & Off-page SEO Changes:
We suggested several on-page SEO changes that helped improve the overall SEO health score of the website. Changes in title tags, header tags, URL structure, etc., were implemented. And off-page consisted of getting links from external websites to increase the backlinks of the website.

Result:

After the above strategies were perfectly put into place, we saw the results in the following months: the keyword “lollies,” which is very competitive, was ranked #1.
